And I'm wondering, do I really need to worry about preventing a pregnancy at age 46, 47, 48?

I'm really not into the idea of continuing hormonal birth control.  The string hanging into my vagina freaks me out with an IUD, and tubal ligation seems so drastic. I think DH will just get a vasectomy.

How long do other AMA moms continue to use birth control? Anyone just chancing it after a certain point?[/quote]
