If there's a place kids at his high school go at lunch or after school, a gift card to that place makes a nice stocking stuffer (Baskin Robbins, Chipotle, whatever's near).  Ditto if there's a place not far from your house.

A couple clothing items mixed in with the fun stuff could be good, if you do that for your kids too - ask your husband if he has a sense of what kind of clothes your nephew likes.  Mine likes Under Armour (for hoodies and sports gear) and Old Navy (their flannel shirts and such).

nice guitar picks? an iTunes or Amazon music card (depending how he listens to music) for listening to whatever band or type of guitar music he loves? extra strings for his guitar? maybe google "guitar player gifts" for ideas.
