[/quote] This is what my kids' school does too. Class size for younger grades is about 20-25, but the school cannot risk over-enrollment due to zoning and fire code restrictions. So the school admits just the exact number in the class and waitlists the rest. The school puts lots of pressure on admitted parents to decide quickly, so they can advise the waitlist group on status as soon as possible.[/quote]
