Looking for tips for places in the historic downtown area for brunch or lunch. TIA!
Cafe Normandy on main st has a good brunch. It is not a buffet. Carrols Creek (a five minute walk from downtown in Eastport looking back across the water at downtown and the Naval Academy) had a really good brunch buffet, it has gone down hill a lot. It is not terrible. Harry Browne's on State Circle has a decent menu and buffet for brunch. All thee are on Open Table and take phone reservations. A bunch of people are going to chime in and tell you to go to Iron Rooster. Food reminds me of Cheese Cake Factory. And the service is hit or miss., usually a miss. And since it is the trendy place waits can be pretty long.
