As the PP's mentioned, it is FAPE - least restrictive environment for the child, access to a free and appropriate education.[/quote] Yes, but the aide should be trying to figure out his triggers, what helps him calm down, taking him out of the room when he needs to regroup, intervening before he can physically touch anyone, etc.---of course, in most schools the aides are just any warm body they can find who will work for 9 bucks an hour. Kids shouldn't be getting hurt with an aide right there assigned to him. [/quote]
