Among the Flowers cafe is my favorite restaurant in Edgartown.  Port Hunter is sceney in Edgartown and all the hotels have fancy restaurants attached.  Alchemy is expensive and good.  There are some great galleries up island - my family loves going to the Field Gallery and seeing the glassblowing at Glass Works.
