Not all of the rescued dogs from Vick's disgusting kennel became fine family pets.

Did anyone reading these boards ever see a dog attack on a person or animal?  One comment has the term the "new normal" for dogs for basic expectations:

Vick and his pitbull breed involvement have created another problem.  New normal is leash aggression, perplexing attacks /deaths when instinct kicks in...

Pit people might not lie this but the link below details how nice shelter dogs are used as bait dogs in behavior assessment for the intakes:
