I think her glee was over the specific flavor of outrage featured here in dcum. Take a reasonable position - "nut allergies are serious, I am very worried about my child in this world" - now ratchet up the rage, to show you're a warrior mama and prove your parenting cred - "nuts have no place anywhere! they should be illegal, and people who are found with them should be tried for manslaughter!" I hope they can find a workable treatment for food allergies. I can't even imagined the terror knowing that a tiny little speck could kill your child.[/quote]
