I don't have any severe nut allergies in my family. But my sister's children had a kid die at school because of kids sharing snacks that they didn't realize had nuts. It's really insensitive to make fun of people's fear about this. It's a very real fear (just Google deaths from nut allergies). Of course, that guy eating a peanut snack on the train is not going to kill someone, but to gloat over this is really mean.
