The promotion when we bought ours included a "free" twin-sized Tempurpedic, so my kid has been on one for years. Yes, there's a day or two of off-gassing where the scent is strong, so maybe I'd have us all avoid it during that time, but bottom line I believe it would be a fine and good choice for your needs. I'm a huge believer in the brand; we bought ours when I was having terrible back trouble and in 3 years of sleeping on the Tempurpedic I haven't had a single back issue after years of throwing my back pretty much every single year. Sleeping on my previous mattress only made it worse. [/quote]
