The first dog learnt so well! My kids would leave a hotdog or something on the counter for hours and she didn't ever take it. She was bad at holiday time though with extra food out and if we were busy. They were both lab mixes and that's part of the breed unfortunately. Dogs are scavengers and it's part of their DNA.
