My 10 year old developed acne, we went to a derm and got a prescription (clindamycin) and rec to use benzoyl peroxide cleaner. It's made a huge difference. Unfortunately for my kids, they have 2 parents who had awful acne as teens, so we knew to get them in to the derm at the first sign of issues. Over the counter stuff might work for others, but not my kids.[/quote]
