I feel about furniture the same way I do new cars. The depreciation once you take them out of the store kills you.

If you can find affordable new furniture or clean attractive used furniture I say go for it. Craigslist is full of "paid $3000 at Haverty's" and they have to give it away......[/quote]

I totally agree with this.  In this area if you are patient and thorough you can find some beautiful furniture on Craigslist.  With the amount of wealth and the transient nature of the residents, people are getting rid of stuff all the time that is gorgeous and pennies on the dollar to what it cost new.[/quote]
