A family member approached me with concern DS was possibly Transgender, she didn't come from a place of judgment but concern.  I know the statistics for suicide in Trans adults and kids is high and that scared me.  I know there is a difference between being transgender and just non-gender confirming but do you think we'd benefit from speaking to a professional?  Or we making an issue out of nothing.

Pleas refrain from trans phobic/homophobic comments, they'll be ignored.[/quote]
