Since buying this house, we have changed the wall color from that awful wallpaper, removed the pot hanger, and gotten stainless steel appliances, so the room is much more open and bright.

Choose a backsplash for me!

I am currently thinking of something like this:

I am not sure how it will look with my very dark countertop, or if maybe I should put something more elaborate, with accent pieces, or maybe some color.  I don't really want to go overboard on cost either, our house is only about 400k.  I know I don't like the type of mosaics with 15 different types of tiles on them, those look way too busy for my taste.[/quote]
