Personally, I would have left after 30 minutes and made it very clear why I was leaving. Why throw good money (haircut + tip) after bad (overpriced babysitter)? (Unless you have 4+ kids, you totally overpaid a $20/hr babysitter.) Even if you have money to burn, OP, at least burn it responsibly and don't let people take advantage of you.[/quote]
