Seriously, though, I'd call management and just let them know what happened. If it's standard practice, they won't care. If not, they may bend over backwards to make it up to you. But that's really worthy of a yelp review.
PP has a good point. Personally, I would have left after 30 minutes and made it very clear why I was leaving. Why throw good money (haircut + tip) after bad (overpriced babysitter)?
(Unless you have 4+ kids, you totally overpaid a $20/hr babysitter.)
Even if you have money to burn, OP, at least burn it responsibly and don't let people take advantage of you.
