Just like elementary schools do CML, WORDMASTERS or WORDMASTERS& Math olympiad for AAP kidds, what Math competitions are provided to kids as part of curriculam. My daughter will be starting 7th grade in fall at Carson. I am interested in carson specific details on this.
There is also Science Olympiad, which is a terrific program when well-run, and I believe Carson may have it. It is not "part of curriculum," though; it is extracurricular and does require a lot of time outside class, to do well. If you are focused just on math competitions, there is also Math Counts, which our middle school did. Don't know if Carson has it but I'd ask.
