Like the PP, we went to England - and Wales - last June. We were there for two weeks, and, during that time, we experienced hot weather, cool weather, dry weather, and wet weather. Such is life in the UK! I am from England originally, so this was no surprise to me. We packed layers, and wore everything from shorts and t-shirts to rain coats and light fleece jackets. We didn't pack wellies, but they would have been useful for our walks and hikes in Oxfordshire and Wales. We wore Keens and Chacos and they were fine, however. To give you a sense of how quickly the weather can change, we were at the beach in South Wales (Tenby) for three days. One day we walked on the beach in the cold pouring rain, wearing rain coats (our DS actually went in the sea while wearing his rain coat!). The next day, we played on the same beach in the baking sun (and our DS swam in the sea in his swim suit). By the time we got to London a few days later, the weather had evened out and was absolutely perfect. Mid 70s, sunny, and gorgeous - every day. Have a great trip!
