how much does it cost at SG? i seem to have gotten information it costs 1500. Is that on-top of the 3000 for the lab? Also, i only have a few. if in a subsuquent cycle i have more, those do not cost more right? thanks
Biopsy (fee goes to SG) 1500 Actual PGS (fee goes directly to genetics lab) 2500-3000, depending which lab you use. ADDITIONALLY, they use ICSI with PGS so that's another 1800-2000 AND for freezing there is a separate fee as well. After all said and done it's about 8 (eight) grand. Unless you have a specific genetic disorder, insurance considers it experimental and does not pay a zip. If you expect to have embryos from different cycles - the cost depends depends. If you freeze all and bank them over more than one cycle - yes, same fee, but depending on the number there might be an extra "per unit" fee (over 12 believe). If you want a fresh cycle with overnight PGS you have to pay every time. They should give you detailed and specific info.
I second this!!!
