Is this a coed party or an all girl party? My parents (ie dad) we VERY uptight about swimsuit modesty when I was that age. He would go on and on about the boys, etc. What he didn't understand was that it wasn't about tye boys; it was about fitting in with the other girls. If this is hanging out with just a bunch of girl friends, no biggie. If this is a coed party or a neighborhood pool, my vote is with your husband. The top is not an issue but those bottoms definitely are. Very innapropriate cut for a middle school girl. I would say differently if this were a high school junior.[/quote]
