Thank you so much! This is just awesome set of instructions. Exactly what I wanted to find out. Cannot thank you enough. I was looking at Flint Hill ES in Madison HS pyramid. The 3rd grade shows zero AAP students. Following the pyramid, it shows that no students went to Archer from Flint Hill from 3rd grade and 4th grade. Is it likely that the data is wrong or is that a very remote possibility? Is there any way to confirm 3rd grade AAP size?
The data for Flint Hill is incorrect.
I suspect there are a lot of errors in the dashboard and other FCPS data on special programs.. I found this out by trying to determine how many kids our AAP center MS was receiving from another MS without an AAP center. The information that FCPS had put out suggested there were dozens of 7th graders and virtually no 8th graders from the other school. I knew that had to be wrong, and FCPS confirmed it was incorrect, but they never went back and fixed it. They are trying to be more transparent but, with so many schools and programs, they have a hard time reporting all the data correctly. It bothers me, though, to think that some of these mistakes potentially might affect enrollment projections as well. So the PP who walked you through the dashboard did a great job, but you still need to be skeptical about the information as reported.
