One more question. In the "student migration" section, "AAP Out" shows -46. What does this mean? Is it the number of AAP students who moved out of Flint Hill for AAP last year?
I know some of FH students go Archer and some to Sunrise. And adding the number of FH students going to Madison from both Archer (6) and Sunrise (6), only comes to 12. So how come 46 students are lost from FH?
I think it means the total number of students who have Flint Hill as the "base school" but attend the AAP center somewhere else.

I was looking at Flint Hill ES in Madison HS pyramid. The 3rd grade shows zero AAP students. Following the pyramid, it shows that no students went to Archer from Flint Hill from 3rd grade and 4th grade.
Is it likely that the data is wrong or is that a very remote possibility?
Is there any way to confirm 3rd grade AAP size?
The data for Flint Hill is incorrect.

1. Under Capacity & Enrollment, select ES Enrollment
http://www.fcps.edu/fts/dashboard/enrollment/esenroll14-15.html
and select the elementary school on the left side of the screen.
2. Scroll down to the "Enrollment by Grade Level" and you will see a green bar for every grade level and a blue extension of the bar for 3rd grade and up.
So, as an example, for Camelot ES, there is an 83 for 3rd grade. This represents the total students in grade 3 at the school. If you mouse over the green bar you will see General Ed Enrollment for grade 3 is 70. If you go just above the green bar near the blue extension, and mouseover again, you will see Level IV AAP Enrollment is 13. (70 + 13 = 83 as shown in the bar for 3rd grade.)
3. Now to see how many students chose the Center option. You will need to use the Pyramid & Programs Dashboard (third option towards the top of the screen):
http://www.fcps.edu/fts/dashboard/program/specialprogs14-15.html
You will need to know the Region and high school pyramid for the assigned Center school. School assignments are here:
http://www.fcps.edu/is/aap/designations.shtml
For example, Camelot ES is assigned to Mantua, which is part of the Woodson pyramid (Region 5).
So for this example, select Region 5 and then select Woodson HS from the left side of the screen.
Then, towards the top of the screen on the right side under the orange bar, select AAP Transfer View. Then scroll down to see the "Base School" numbers corresponding to the Attending School. For Camelot ES, there is 1 in 3rd grade, 2 in 4th grade, 5 in 5th grade, and 1 in 6th grade.
