I agree.  My son just turned 6 and is not ready for Wimpy Kid.  Some kids may be, but not all 6 year olds.  Mine is still reading (aka listening to his dad and I read) Berenstain Bears.  On his own, he's reading Frog and Toad.

He received a paper airplane book for his 6th birthday and that was a HUGE hit!  He's been making airplanes ever since.[/quote]
