We just refinshed our basement bathroom and didn't want to spend much. We went with basic white hexagonal tiles on the floor. http://www.homedepot.com/p/Merola-Tile-Metro-Hex-Matte-White-10-1-4-in-x-11-3-4-in-x-5-mm-Porcelain-Mosaic-Floor-and-Wall-Tile-8-54-sq-ft-case-FDXMHMW/202647811
So I've been looking at hex tiles recently and read that gloss hex tiles are easier to keep clean. I see you went with matte finish. For what I'm thinking of, matte would probably offer a better look, but I am wary about the cleaning aspect. What's your experience been? What were your reasons for choosing matte over gloss and do you regret not going for the gloss?
Ours are actually gloss, it wasn't that specific item from Home Depot, I just posted that to show the style. However, the bathroom this is in is rarely used so cleaning isn't an issue either way.
