The RE who performed the procedure suggested that, if I need to go through an HSG again, I could do it under "light sedation", which I assume would be similar to what I had for egg retrieval. If I need to go through it again, that's my plan. I know some women have no issues with the HSG; I wish I was one of them. Unfortunately I have a tricky cervix, and it was a horrible morning for me.
