We're TTC and using OPKs, and I think we timed it well with when ovulation should have been.  My breasts got extremely tender one week before when my period would have been due.  This is fairly common as a PMS symptom for me but seemed a little stronger than normal.  They remained sore for a solid week and then got slightly less sore around the day when my period would have come, but it didn't.  They're still a little tender but not like they were before.

I know I'll probably get my period in a few days, but I'm really surprised by it being late because there's fairly unusual for my "norm."  How long should I wait before I test again?  If I don't get it in a week, should I call a doctor?  Is it possible this could be an ectopic or something?

I'm also surprised because my positive OPKs showed up around the usual timing for my normal cycle length and now would mean a very long LH cycle if I'm not pregnant.  Does that seem unusual?  I'd love any advice!  Thanks![/quote]
