And what started this whole thing was a Colts player intercepted Brady and gave the ball to his (i.e. the Colts) equipment manager, who noticed it was inflated, who elevated it to the coaches, who elevated it to the league, who elevated it to the officials, etc. Each team plays with its own balls.
