Sounds like my DH who has ADHD/depression/diabetes. When his diabetes is uncontrolled, he's got all the symptoms you mention http://www.mayoclinic.org/diseases-conditions/diabetic-hypoglycemia/basics/symptoms/con-20034680 . He sweats excessively especially at night. It's the body's way of trying to rid itself of the extra glucose. When it's really bad, he'll pee the bed. Any time he gains weight, his medication must be adjusted. He's also got poor 'sleep hygiene', doesn't keep regular sleep hours and falls asleep several times during the day. He also had problems keeping a job, was under-employed, yet, has a paralyzing fear of failure so he doesn't even try sometimes (thank you ADHD/Anxiety). Bloody noses aren't unusual when you've got poor health or a 'bleeder' capillary in the nose (I've got one). My DH was diagnosed with Type 2 diabetes at age 35. He was fit and trim but has a strong family history of it. It's why it's called the silent killer. Symptoms are often overlooked or mistaken for something else. Or, it could be drugs but that's hard to hide for 2+ years.
OP here. Id believe that however diabetes doesn't cause people to refuse to work, take out student loans with no explanation for where money went, drop out of college three times and have zero worries or cares when bill collectors call and threaten to shut off utilities. FFS, I'm relieved I had the sense to get out before having kids with him. For those of you who have a family member with severe addiction issues....how long did it take you to figure it out? And how did they conceal it from you?
