I know it sounds like I'm making a mountain out of a mole hill. I would think the same thing if I read my post but can't you understand how sometimes A LOT of mole hills make a mountain? Also, the only reason the fact that she didn't bring a gift even came up was because she gave us a check that we assumed was for DC's birthday. When DH thanked her she specifically told him the check was NOT for DC but was for DH and she didn't bring a gift because I told her not to. [/quote]
