My mother died of cancer when I was a teenager and I became very angry at the world and my idea of the Christian God, so I started to doubt the faith of my upbringing and explored other religions to find one that I could identify with. I grew up in the suburbs of a large city on the East Coast and had an upper-middle class lifestyle. I'm not married, though I hope to some day! Wiccans absolutely are allowed to get married if they so wish. I know sisters who are married to male Wiccans, sisters who are married to Christians, and everywhere on the religious spectrum.
