When you are out in the world you are interacting with people and picking up germs, and you can't really avoid it. You don't quarantine yourself just because you have a sick relative. Instead, you take extra special precautions and you make sure your own hygiene is impeccable. Don't share your mother's drink or kiss her hello. Wash your hands constantly. That should do it.[/quote]
