Our entry way needs a runner -- you can only really take off shoes at the end of the runner, and we have two kids. I haven't had one yet in the house, and the amount of dirt that gets tracked to the shoe station is truly unbelievable. I'm hoping a runner will help with some of that (will it? please say yes?) Any thoughts on what material? wool v. synthetic? thanks! i need less dirt in my house (with two little boys, it's a tall order, i know!)
We got the water hog runner from LL Bean and it is great. Looks fine but we can literally take it outside and hose it off if it gets muddy. Its heavy and doesn't move around or get sucked up when we vacuum.
