[/quote] It isn't obvious favoritism. My parents helped raise her after my brothers wife died. They are very close, and they saw her more than she saw my children or my sisters. Also, my parents are just trying to get through the holidays as well. They don't want to challenge her because she will make it hell. It is just easier to appease her. My parents just want us all under one roof for one time a year. We all deal, but it just gets harder to keep my mouth shut. DH thinks she has NPD. [/quote]
