Another option is to fake a time-sensitive work thing, and excuse yourself to a bedroom with a laptop to do some work. [b]If you've got kids, best thing you can do is offer to keep them entertained. Go on the internet and check out kid activities at the library and movies, etc. for Thanksgiving week. Also, you could get a daily guest pass for the local gym for yourself.[/quote]
