Where do you mark the beginning of being on the autism spectrum and where is the cut off for being social, not having any behavioral problems, and just having difficulty making friends? Lots of parents with such mild symptoms wouldn't even have gone and gotten a diagnosis. My niece is just like your DD but she is one of four kids with pretty laid back parents. You were proactive but now it might bite you in the ass because schools won't want to accept her with that diagnosis.[/quote]
