But if its a cool mist humidifier, make sure it is CLEAN. They fill up with bacteria/fungi/algea fairly fast and that can be harmful. We use diluted vinegar or diluted bleach to clean it. It its a hot mist one, then the water is boiled to turn it into steam, so its less of a concern. [/quote]
