CIO definitely didn't work, nor did giving food, books, etc. What did work (finally) was cutting the morning nap and pushing bedtime back from 7:30 to between 8-8:30. We used the Ferber guidelines for how much sleep kids need at particular ages and it seemed accurate for us... Good luck! I remember how miserable some of those days were...[/quote]
