You don't need an excuse. You call the school and talk to the principal. Tell them you are interested in the school but you are out of bounds. Ask if they have or will have room. Tell them you intend to put in a transfer. Make sure you give them your name.  Then you submit the transfer form.[/quote]

Just right something that sounds reasonable - smaller classes, something the school offers your current one doesn't, whatever. Or just leave it blank and send in the form. Maybe they will call you to ask but more than likely they will just call to tell you when you can start at the different school and what to do to complete the transfer.  They key issue in getting a transfer is space so make sure Maury has the space and that you have reached out to the Principal.  [/quote]
