I got home from the grocery store around 8 last night. Somehow the eggs didn't make it into the fridge.... they landed on the dining room table (don't ask). Just saw them now. I am so mad. Can we still use them or toss? I know in Europe they don't necessarily refrigerate eggs at home. What say you?
My friends who raise chickens say that eggs can be left out unrefrigerated, but that is when they are fresh, so I don't know how long you can leave them out. From the time they are laid they are good for 2 weeks. If the room was room temperature I'm sure they are fine. Also depends on quality of the eggs.
