Fairfax county, 3rd grade, boy. Just attended back to school night last night and was really impressed with my son's teacher's presentation about the curriculum and her teaching style. She seems so down to earth and logical. I'm excited for my son this year and this is a first. (I loved his second grade teacher too, but this teacher seemed like she is the PERFECT fit for my son!)

My opinion of FCPS is about 5. 
My opinion of my sons school is a 2 or 3.
My opinion of the teachers my son had had at his school are a 1 or 2!

We came to this school last year after moving here from Maryland. I was a lot less happy with the school in Maryland for my sons first two years. That school was bad.

And to the pp saying for OP to come back in ten years, wtf? Why shouldn't she have an opinion? Every year is important.[/quote]
