I wouldn't eat adjarian varianty (with undercooked egg) anywhere other than my own home either. Russian stores sell Georgian type (stuffed with cheese). They do bake in store daily AFAIK, nothing sits on the shelf. They would also most likely sell you uncooked ready to bake khachapuri if you ask them.[/quote]
