This is not true.

If you call the police, then the people you call on will be notified that [i]you[/i]were the party that called on them. That is standard. You can never call the police on someone, then remain [b]anonymous[/b] to who you called them on. Unfair maybe, but won't happen.

I say as long as it is on a weekend or holiday, don't be a party pooper/buzz kill. As long as it happens occasionally, and not every weekend, let them have fun. In some countries such as Mexico, the police would laugh at you if you called them for this.
