I live almost across from the Deli, and two things:1) it's at least 10 minutes to Wheaton, in no traffic. Not exactly a hop skip and jump to get take out. 2) Technically, West of Grubb Road is Chevy Chase, at least according to the Post Office (east is Silver Spring). I concur it's not what everyone thinks of when they say CC, but it is what it is.[/quote]

Oh, please.  It can take 20 minutes to find a legal parking space at Ruan Thai.  I could have taken the shortcut to the deli and already be sipping my coffee in that time.  You all have a lot to learn about navigating around this area.[/quote]

Unless you are handicapped or otherwise can't walk, this should not be the case. There is often street parking on the same block and if that isn't available, there's a massive county parking lot 2 blocks away. When we take my mom (who does not walk well) we drop her off at Ruan Thai and continue on to the lot. It takes us less than 5 minutes to walk it. If we're getting takeout, we do the same. It's not that hard.

Also, Parkway Deli sucks. But that is another issue.[/quote]
