Sounds easy to do. Surely just retraining will get you $200k. Why even bother to research? Just pick something and do it.
This baffles me. I am in Aerospace and making 200k is director level which means years of working in the field. How exactly would I break into 200k job in say IT. I have technical background but in aerospace ; would I retrain a masters in comp sci from gmu or something? And what company and job us this range? Senior consultant at Booz? I think knowing how to navigate career comes from growing up other folks in these fields. Asking for such clear advice when you reveal some vulnerability you only do with old friends and family. But for us from rural parts of country, our folks are amazed when we make over 50k and our friends from home really can't relate to the job market and salary here compared to small rural cities.
