[/quote] OP here; my first birth was a c-section (planning a VBAC this time, but who knows!) and my OB was insistent that taking a shower would make me feel like a new person. He was totally right - but I would've felt "newer" if I had had some of my own supplies! The eye mask is great idea.[/quote]
