That was my first thought too.   I know our neighborhood pool starts swim meets VERY early on Saturday mornings in the summer.   And hours before the meet even starts, they swimmers/families start arriving to stake out a good place for their canopy.

What is between the house and the pool?   A tall privacy fence?  Shrubs that cover a different style of fence?  Will pool patrons be able to see right into your back yard/or even  through your windows into your house, if there are big windows/doors?   
What if you want to have friends over to BBQ and sit out on your back deck/patio.  Will it feel really awkward with the pool right there?[/quote]

All of these are good good great questions. All this makes a difference as to whether I would consider this positive or negative. I am kind of nosey so it would be fun to see who was there before I walked over there too (how crowded, etc)[/quote]
