Not always.  Please don't scare OP unnecessarily with this immune stuff.  Many MANY people with bashimotos have successful pregnancies, myself included.[/quote]

Not the person who posted this comment about hashimoto's correlating with other auto-immune problems, but just want to say this was true for me as well.  I had infertility for years and major digestive problems.  I went gluten free after testing positive for gliadin antibodies and my hashimoto's is gone and I got pregnant.  I realize that isn't the case for everyone, but think it's worth mentioning.  A lot of people find their thyroid problems improve after going gluten free… and for me my fertility and digestive problems went away.  [/quote]
