Hashimotos is no big deal but is often correlated with other auto-immune problems like endometriosis, Celiac Disease, and immune-related infertility/pregnancy loss. Just something to keep in mind.
Not always. Please don't scare OP unnecessarily with this immune stuff. Many MANY people with bashimotos have successful pregnancies, myself included.
Hence my use of the word "often" rather than "always".
Not the person who posted this comment about hashimoto's correlating with other auto-immune problems, but just want to say this was true for me as well. I had infertility for years and major digestive problems. I went gluten free after testing positive for gliadin antibodies and my hashimoto's is gone and I got pregnant. I realize that isn't the case for everyone, but think it's worth mentioning. A lot of people find their thyroid problems improve after going gluten free⦠and for me my fertility and digestive problems went away.
