I can't help you on the antibodies but a tsh of 2.68 isn't great for ttc/pregnancy. My RE likes mine under 2.5 and even that is pushing it - she said ideally it would be under 2.

I also have Hashimotos. My TPO (thyroid peroxidase antibodies) levels were over 1000. I went gluten free and then went paleo. My TPO levels dropped down to below 150. I've felt better since cutting out all processed foods, gluten and dairy. Still not pregnant yet but have noticed general health improvements from the dietary changes. I'm also taking synthroid daily.

I am asked to do NK cell test and anti phospholipid antibody test. Are there any other tests that women have done as part of their immunology testing which would shed some light quickly on the previous IVF failures? I am just getting impatient now. It's been 3 years since I started on various procedures and treatments for infertility. I feel like doing all possible tests that are available out there and get a closure soon!

Not the person who posted this comment about hashimoto's correlating with other auto-immune problems, but just want to say this was true for me as well. I had infertility for years and major digestive problems. I went gluten free after testing positive for gliadin antibodies and my hashimoto's is gone and I got pregnant. I realize that isn't the case for everyone, but think it's worth mentioning. A lot of people find their thyroid problems improve after going gluten free… and for me my fertility and digestive problems went away.

I am OP. My RE has ordered for NK cell testing due to the numbers I posted above in my first post. He thinks there might be an immunology issue with me. I am trying for pregnancy for several years and have had a number of IUI and IVF failures. He has not told me yet that I have Hashimoto's. This is just through my google search. The numbers I posted in the first post is all I know at this time and my nurse told me that those levels are elevated and I would need an auto-immune testing. Looking for BTDT stories.
I am surprised nobody asked me to test for these antibodies before. Only my TSH was tested and it was normal even in the past.

Yes to all this. 11:41 here. I had thyroid testing every 2 weeks in first trimester and monthly for the rest of the pregnancy. I would find an endocrinologist to manage your testing and dosage instead of a gp or your ob.

Hashimotos here and I echo was PPs said re NBD. Make sure your levels are followed if pregnant because your synthroid dosage can vary and in extreme cases it can affect baby's brain development (fetus relies on maternal thyroid hormones for first two trimesters so you need to make sure your levels are adequate).

No big deal. You'll likely be put on synthroid to regulate your thyroid and get bloodwork to make sure the levels are stable on the dosage they prescribe. I believe a tsh below 2 is ideal for getting pregnant so even though it's within normal, it's not optimal for pregnancy. Again, synthroid will correct that.

Hashimoto is really, really common. I have it - no longer pregnant though. Solution is that you take a daily pill that has zero side effects, you feel better and have more energy! No idea what the protocol is when you are pregnant, but honestly, it's no big deal.

OP once again. Anyone out there who had similar issues? What did you do? Any success stories?
