I worked at a residential treatment facility for 5 years. If the family can afford the price tag, its an option, if he wants to go. But no way the family should take on a financial burden they can't handle to send him there, especially if he isn't 100% committed to his recovery. Even after mutliple stints at rehab, he will likely relapse. Seriously, OP- get to Al-Anon. It sounds to me that he already has plenty of resources and he needs to work the steps himself. [/quote]
